LUFS measures the perceived loudness of audio content. By standardizing loudness using LUFS, podcasters can ensure that their episodes have consistent volume levels across different platforms and listening environments. The recommended LUFS level for podcasts is around -16 LUFS.

Example: Ensuring your podcast audio adheres to -16 LUFS means listeners won’t have to adjust their volume between episodes.

Tools: Audio editing software (Auphonic, Adobe Audition).
